Competences :

Based on the know-how of designers with more than 10 years experience, THIOT INGENIERIE is able to design guns and laboratory
launchers, using several energy sources :

- Compressed gas guns, for muzzle velocities between 0 and 1,300 m/s.
- Powder guns, for muzzle velocities between 700 and 2,800 m/s.
- Two stage light gas guns (Podwer/He and Powder/H2), for muzzle velocities between 2,000 and 10,000 m/s.

Our experience allows us to design launchers with calibres between 2 and 400 mm and with working pressures up to 12,000 bar.

Means :

A self -made internal ballistics calculation code and our long experience is useful to calculate the precise dimensions of the launchers but also those of the projectiles, particularly if they are highly stressed.
